D Thina Adams leitet seit 2018 das LUMEN – Museum of Mountain Photography am Kronplatz in Bruneck. Ihre Ausbildung führte die gebürtige Südtirolerin nach Wien und Innsbruck, wo sie Kunstgeschichte, Wirtschaft und Marketing studierte. Beruflich war sie zuvor für die Galerie Martin Janda, die Galerie Rhomberg und das Museion in Bozen tätig. Seit 2016 ist Adams im Ausschuss und künstlerischen Beirat des Stadtmuseum Bruneck und ist Mitbegründerin der Ausstellungserie „Wege zum Museum“. Neben ihren Forschungen im Bereich der Fotografie setzt sie sich u.a. mit dem Thema der Globalisierung in der Kunst auseinander.
E Thina Adams has been director of LUMEN – Museum of Mountain Photography at Kronplatz in Bruneck since 2018. The South Tyrolean-born curator studied art history, economics and marketing in Vienna and Innsbruck. She has previously worked for the Gallery Martin Janda, the Gallery Rhomberg and the Museion in Bolzano. Since 2016 Adams has been on the committee and artistic advisory board of the Bruneck City Museum and is co-founder of the exhibition series „Paths to the Museum“. In addition to her research in the field of photography, she also deals with the topic of globalization in art.
