D Im Rahmen der Einzelausstellung Jakup Ferri im Kunstraum Innsbruck sprechen Szegin Boynik und Ivana Marjanović über die lebendige Kunstszene in Pristina und im Kosovo, politische Hintergründe, vergangene und aktuelle Entwicklungen und Kollaborationen. Während Ferris Arbeiten im Detail pulsieren, im „Kleinen“ und Alltäglichen – den Orten, an denen das Leben, trotz der kapitalistischen Krise und Zerstörung rundherum, explodiert –, wählen andere Künstler*innen und Akteur*innen unterschiedliche Wege und Strategien.
Sezgin Boynik (1977), geboren in Prizren, lebt und arbeitet in Helsinki und Prizren. Er ist Theoretiker und Künstler und hat zu verschiedensten Themen publiziert, wie Punk, Zaum, konkreter Poesie und linke Avantgarde. Er ist Herausgeber von Rab-Rab Press (www.rabrab.fi).
E As part of the programme of Jakup Ferri’s solo exhibition at Kunstraum Innsbruck, Sezgin Boynik and Ivana Marjanovi talk about the vivid art scene in Pristina and Kosovo, political backgrounds, past and present developments and collaborations. While Ferri’s works focus on the “small” and everyday things, the places where life explodes, despite the surrounding capitalist destruction and crisis, other artists and actors have varying approaches and strategies.
Sezgin Boynik (1977) was born in Prizren and lives in Helsinki and Prizren. He is a theoretician and artist and has published texts on the most varied topics, including punk, zaum, concrete poetry and the left avant-garde. He is the editor of Rab-Rab Press (www.rabrab.fi).
