D Der Fotograf Paul Albert Leitner (geb. 1957 in Tirol) lebt und arbeitet in Wien. In seinem Archiv verwaltet er über 80.000 Negative aus einem 40-jährigen Schaffen. Die Hauptmotivstränge sind meist Architekturfassaden, Signs-Werbeschilder, Stillleben, Objekte in surrealer Sichtweise und Selbstporträts-Inszenierungen.
Wenn man so will, ist der „Themenmix“ des Künstlers ein buntes Gemisch, ein Durcheinander, so die bildungssprachliche Übersetzung des lateinischen Begriffs „mixtum compositum“.

E Photographer Paul Albert Leitner (born in Tirol, in 1957) lives and works in Vienna. His archive holds more than 80,000 negatives accumulated over a career spanning forty years. Their main motifs are architectural facades, promotional signs, still lives, objects from surreal perspectives, and staged self-portraits. We might say the artist’s content mix is a colourful blend, a jumble, in perfect accordance with the translation of the Latin term mixtum compositum.
