D Goyanische Canederli nennt Paul Renner seinen neuesten Bilderzyklus, zu dem er meint: „Es ist angewandte Pataphysik. Ob das sogenannte Absurde absurd ist, kann ich so oder so sehen. Da ich keine genaue Vorstellung von der Realität habe, habe ich auch keine von der Irrealität, d. h. es hängt davon ab, was für einen Betrachtungswinkel ich wähle.“
E Goyanische Canederli is the title Paul Renner chose for this latest picture cycle, on which he says: “It is applied pataphysics. Whether the so-called absurd is absurd I can take this way or that way. As I don’t have a clear concept of reality, I also don’t have one of irreality, which means it all depends on the viewing angle I choose.”
