Nicole Weniger „a place where secrets have been told“ Eröffnung der Ausstellung mit einer Performance von Marko Sulz (20:30 Uhr) und anschließender Abschlussparty der PREMIERENTAGE 2024

In Nicole Wenigers Ausstellung „a place where secrets have been told“ werden
Versatzstücke des Erinnerns zu einer Rauminstallation zusammengeflochten. Die Färbung eines Orts und die Frage nach dem, was sie in uns auslöst, sind zentrale Bestandteile der Ausstellung. Was bleibt hängen und was kann das Schwelgen in Erinnerung mit Glück zu tun haben? Rückzugsorte und Orte in Transformation waren hier – für der Ausgangspunkt. Der Pfirsich der Erkenntnis wurde angeschnitten und wird uns am Eröffnungsabend serviert.

In her exhibition a place where secrets have been told the artist Nicole Weniger weaves together set pieces of remembering into a spatial installation. The ambience of a place and the question as to what it triggers in us are central aspects of the exhibition. What remains with us and what can the wallowing in memories possibly have to do with happiness? Safe havens and places of transformation have served as a starting point here. The peach of knowledge has been cut and will be served to us on the evening of the opening.
