Staatspreis Design 2024 – Best of Austrian Design
Design ist nie nur ein Objekt sondern spiegelt Werte und Fragestellungen der Gesellschaft wider. Von der minimalistischen Armprothese bis zum Mikrofaserfilter, vom inklusiven Leitsystem bis zum urbanen Mini-Windrad oder dem Fitness Rollator zeichnet der Staatspreis Design Projekte und Produkte aus, bei denen soziale und ökologische Nachhaltigkeit und gesellschaftliche Relevanz im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Im Zweijahresrhythmus vergibt das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Wirtschaft den Staatspreis Design. In diesem Jahr wählte die Jury 35 Projekte aus insgesamt 218 Einreichungen aus. Die Vielfalt der Preisträger*innen macht klar: Ziel jeder Gestaltungs-arbeit müssen Antworten auf aktuelle gesellschaftliche Fragen sein.
In Kooperation mit Designaustria zeigt WEISRAUM. Designforum Tirol die diesjährigen Staatspreisträger*innen und Nominierungen, darunter auch die neue Fahrzeugflotte des Verkehrsverbunds Tirol (VVT).

National Design Award 2024 –Best of Austrian Design
Design is never just an object, it also mirrors social values and issues. From the minimalist prosthetic arm down to the microfibre filter, from the inclusive control system down to the urban mini wind turbine, or the workout rollator, the National Design Award honours products with a focus on social and ecological sustainability and relevance.
Every two years, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy hands out the National Design Award. This year the jury selected 35 projects from 218 submissions in total. The diversity of award winners shows clearly that the goal of every design chosen must be to give answers to pressing social questions.
In collaboration with Designaustria WEISRAUM. Designforum Tirol presents this year’s National Design Award winners and nominees, among them the new VVT (Public Transport Tyrol) fleet.
